We offer broad undergraduate education in four distinct, yet complementary disciplines: Architectural Engineering; Civil Engineering; Construction Management and Surveying; and Urban Studies.

We have an on-going commitment to high quality and innovative research as well as an evolving and well-established portfolio of taught postgraduate programmes. We have students from around the world studying full-time, part-time and by distance learning.

We undertake high-quality, high-impact research in a number of diverse areas related to the built environment. At least 50% of our research outputs were confirmed as world-leading or internationally recognised in the UK’s last Research Assessment Exercise.
