Distance learning programmes allow more flexible study for students.
There are many pressures on students: some may have family responsibilities making full-time study difficult; some have a job they do not want to or cannot leave. Flexible learning provides opportunities to undertake study to suit changing your circumstances and lifestyle.
At Heriot-Watt, we offer two learning paths:
Independent Distance Learning: this option covers a wide range of MSc and PG Diploma programmes. Whilst programmes are based out of Heriot-Watt’s Edinburgh Campus, no classes are attended.
Approved Learning Partners: these programmes are offered by academic institutions throughout the world, which are approved by Heriot-Watt University. A range of MSc, PG Diploma, and some undergraduate programmes are offered through this route.
