Postgraduate programmes

The School of the Built Environment's on-going commitment to high quality and innovative research has been recognised with a high ranking in UK government Research Assessment Exercises (RAE). We are one of only seven built environment Schools in the UK, with a high percentage of research being recognised as international and world leading in the RAE 2008 review.

We also have an evolving and well-established portfolio of taught postgraduate programmes with students from around the world studying full-time, part-time and by distance learning.

• Institute for Infrastructure & Environment

  

  The Institute for Infrastructure & Engineering has a portfolio of six taught postgraduate programmes which are closely linked to the research areas of the Institute.

• Institute for Building & Urban Design

  

  The Institute for Building & Urban Design has a portfolio of nine taught postgraduate programmes which reflect the diverse range of research areas within the Institute itself.

• Institute for Housing, Urban and Real Estate Research

  

  There are seven taught postgraduate programmes associated with this Institute which includes a newly developed MSc/PG Dip in Sustainable Urban Management.
